It has been really great to get back into singing at open mic nights again. Recently I recorded a couple of jazz standards in a mobile recording studio that was parked up in the pub car park where the open mic night was. It was brilliantly kitted out with a good professional sound & a video recording to accompany the track. Will definitely be doing that again! I am currently writing my own material & learning to the play the ukulele so I can eventually accompany myself. I would like to record an album of songs both written by myself & some covers. A year of singing for me!
